HOW TO PLAY BLACKJACK

Blackjack Terms
To play your hand in Blackjack there are a number of terms used exclusively in this game that you should know. Remember that you are trying to build a hand as close to 21 without exceeding that limit.

Hit:
This is to request another card

Stand:
Stand is to be satisfied with your hand and refuse another card.

Double Down:
A Double Down bet lets you double your initial wager. It is placed after the first two cards are dealt. To do this, click on the DOUBLE bar. Your bet will be placed automatically and you will be dealt one last card. You can only receive one card after doubling down so your hand will always consist of three cards.

Split:
If you are dealt two cards of identical value you can split them into two new hands of one card each by clicking on the SPLIT bar. Each hand would then be played out in turn. You may only split a hand once. The wager placed on each new hand will be equal to the original bet. You may double down on one or both of the new hands. When Aces are split only one card will be dealt to each hand. A split hand resulting in Blackjack pays out a ratio of 1-1 rather than the normal 3-2.

Insurance:
Insurance gives you a chance to protect yourself from the dealer’s Blackjack.

If the Dealer’s card is an Ace, there is the possibility of a Blackjack. When this happens you will be asked whether you’d like to buy insurance. If you believe the dealer has Blackjack you can buy insurance to protect yourself. To insure yourself you must pay an amount equal to half your initial wager for that hand. If the Dealer gets Blackjack, the insurance will pay 2 to 1, which equals your original bet. If you have insured yourself and the dealer does not obtain Blackjack, then you lose your insurance but retain your original wager.

OBJECT OF THE GAME
To attain a hand with a value closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand without exceeding it.

TO BEGIN
Before receiving any cards, you must place a wager.

1.
Select $1, $5, $10, $25, or $100 chips by clicking the appropriate denomination found in the lower right corner of your screen.

2.
Make sure your wager is greater than the Minimum Bet for the table.

3.
After this selection, continue to place your bet by clicking within the player’s circle.

Note: To retract a bet, just right-click on the desired chip denomination at the bottom of the screen.

LET’S PLAY
1.
If you are satisfied with your bet click on the DEAL bar to begin play.

2.
You are then dealt two cards face up. The dealer is also dealt two cards; one face up and the other face down. The dealer’s hole card remains face down until your hand is completed.

YOU WIN
If you get a Blackjack (21) the payout is 3:2 rather than the regular 1:1

Super 7 Blackjack

You Win

Where a Super 7 wager is made, and:
  • The first card dealt to your hand is a 7 (of any suit), you win and are paid odds of three to one, unless the next card dealt to your hand is also a 7

  • The first two cards dealt to your hand in that round are both 7’s (of different suits), you win and are paid odds of fifty to one, unless the next card dealt to your hand is also a 7

  • The first two cards dealt to your hand in that round are both 7’s of the same suit, you win and are paid odds of one hundred to one, unless the next card dealt to your hand is also a 7.

  • The first three cards dealt to your hand in that round are all 7’s, but are not all of the same suit, you shall win and be paid odds of five hundred to one.

  • The first three cards dealt to your hand in that round are all 7’s of the same suit, you win and are paid odds of five thousand to one.

  • Any card other than a 7 is dealt as the first card to your hand; you lose your Super 7 wager.

  • If the first two cards dealt to a playing area on which a Super 7 wager has been made are both 7’s, and the option to split is taken, the next card dealt shall decide the settlement of the Super 7 wager and that wager shall then be deemed completed.

  • Winning Super 7 wagers shall be paid, and losing Super 7 wagers collected by the dealer as soon as the outcome of the Super 7 wager is known. The Super 7 wager is settled before your regular Blackjack hand is settled.
